Do you feel uncomfortable, or uncertain at times? Maybe anger or shame get the better of you, or it is sometimes just really hard to trust others?

Life can throw us a lot of challenges as well as twists and turns, especially in our close relationships. When we can come to understand how we respond when we are anxious, angry, controlling or trying to run away, we can discover new paths to choose from. These moments can open up great opportunities of self awareness and empower you to make good decisions.

RelateStrong groups are a great way to learn all about how you respond in moments where you may feel uncomfortable and uncertain. RelateStrong groups are a small group of 6-8 people exploring and discovering answers to questions of who I am, and how I relate with others, and being empowered to take steps towards healing and change.

Developed out of Restoration Therapy, RelateStrong is an evidence based psychological approach to understanding how people can thrive in relationships and leadership.

RelateStrong groups offer a safe place to encounter and understand how others cope with and handle difficulty in life and relationships in a safe and encouraging group experience. The group will seek to challenge and empower you to seek new ways to navigate times of hurt and confusion, instead of falling back into old patterns.

That "us" is still deeply impacted by the individuals in the relationship, and most of the time this is probably in sync, but at times there may be things that challenge your understandings of love and trust in the relationship.

I feel a little nervous about sharing personal information. Will we have to share personal information in the group?

That is up to you! The group is 75% educational, 25% experiential. So we will learn about a topic, such as our pain cycle or boundaries for example, and we will discuss as a group how that applies to our life. You will never be forced to share anything you are uncomfortable sharing or deep intimate stories about yourself, but you will be invited to recognize moments when you feel stress or confusion and how you cope with those moments, and what opportunities you have to respond better.
